Jugend Medienfestival in Berlin 2009 from 13th until the 17th of May in Berlin-Schöneberg.
AllAboutUs was invited to the ‘Jugend Medien Festival’ in Berlin and showed the film 'Growing up' from the Flotsam project. The film was very well received which made us really proud, and at the same time we were slightly saddened that we couldn’t let Ieva come from Latvia to be present. It’s a beautiful film Ieva, well done!
Jugend Film Tage 2009 from March 11 until March 15.
This is a young people’s film festival in Switserland, Zürich. Artistic Director Anna Spohr was invited to show films during a two hour slot and speak about the success of AllABoutUs FilmFactory.
REJI Forum 2008 from the 20th of November until the 6th of December in Paris/France.
This is a European Forum that focuses on the combination of youth and moving images. Anna Spohr was in charge of a debate during this European forum and one of her articles was published in the Forum’s book. The article "The importance of trust" can be found in the press section of this site...
Youki 2008 from November 25 until November 29 in Wels, Austria.
The tenth international young people’s media festival is held in Wels, a place in Austria. We travelled there with Precenta, who filmed her mother for the "Hey mam, tell me…". This was the first trip outside of the Netherlands for Precenta and it was also the first time she got on an aeroplane! Exciting! The organisation of the festival nearly only consisted of young people under the age of 25, which we really loved!. It was a busy festival with an incredible amount of submissions. Every year they look for submissions from all over Europe, so maybe your film can be screened there next year! Please find the journal on the trip, written by Precenta, recorded on our mobile phones and edited by our in-house editor Moushine here on Dailymotion.
