Timon is a graffiti artist from Amsterdam. During his first visit to New York he can’t wait to check out the graffiti-scene.
As he discovers old masters from the history of graffiti (for instance Tatscru) he finds out how graffiti-culture has changed in major ways. Prison and paint have put an end to glorious times of this art that once belonged to the streets but no longer does.
When meeting a friend from the old scene he is touched by finding a whole wall of excellent graffiti-art being covered by paint. Together they unravel the story of graffiti while trying to find some remnants of truth underneath the thick "white" paint. Is the oppression of graffiti the reason for an increasing number of criminal activities in the city of New York? Timon is shocked.
It doesn't keep him from doing what he has to do.
